The Name
Let's understand Buddhism through a simple question-answer conversation.
Buddhism is just a name.
Seeing reality clearly.
Just look. Nothing needs to be done. To try is to defile [reality].
Exactly because you don't get it. Practice until the mind is settled. Once the mind is settled: reality will be clear. Then you realize how silly it was to even think of what is called "practice".
One in accord with reality.
Reality has 3 marks: nothing is permenant, to chase for permenancy causes dis-ease, and there is no self behind the chase.
Pleasure is real. You have this body. You have this nervous system. But it's ultimately unsatisfying. You will constantly seek for more, as it doesn't ultimately satisfy."
So what ultimately satisfies?
Living in accord with reality.
A life that's lived, not for some future state (or pleasure), but for the moment.
